A look at the seven youngest debutants in Premier League history.

Aaron Lennon: First appeared for Leeds at 16 years 129 days in 2003, Lennon went on to make 400+ Premier League appearances, mostly with Tottenham, where he was known for blistering pace on the wing. He retired in 2022 after final spells with Everton and Burnley. (PC: X)

Izzy Brown: Made his debut for West Brom at 16 years 117 days in 2013. Signed by Chelsea shortly after, but constant loans and injuries stunted his progress. Unfortunately, he retired early in 2023 at just 26 due to persistent health issues. (PC: Premier League)

Matthew Briggs: Burst onto the scene at 16 years, 65 days with Fulham in 2007, briefly holding the Premier League youngest-debut record. His career didn’t flourish, however, as he drifted through lower leagues and abroad. After personal struggles, he has since returned to football in mentoring roles.

Harvey Elliot: The attacking midfielder debuted aged 16 years 30 days for Fulham in May 2019, setting a record at the time. He moved swiftly to Liverpool and became a key part of first Jürgen Klopp and now Arne Slott's squads, featuring across midfield and wings. This year, he's reportedly drawing a lot of interest from PL and abroad for a transfer.

Jeremy Monga: Made his PL bow for Leicester City at 15 years 271 days in the last season, ranking second-youngest at the time. His debut made headlines—he wore a kit without the gambling sponsor due to age regulations. A dynamic winger, he’s already drawing attention from Real Madrid, Chelsea, and Manchester City. Max Dowman: An attacking mid-fielder by trade, Dowman is considered one of the biggest young English talents, alongside Monga. He debuted for Arsenal at 15 years 235 days, becoming the second-youngest ever in the Premier League, on Saturday against Leeds United. Ethan Nwaneri: A player who can play AM, winger, and even second-striker, Nwaneri made his PL debut for Arsenal at just 15 years 181 days, making him the youngest in league history, a record that still holds. He broke into the senior squad in 2022, and now has goals in the PL, Champions League and acorss cup competitions. (PC: Premier League)
