Senior cardiologist C.V. Reddy on Tuesday urged people to avoid a sedentary lifestyle, as it can lead to multiple health problems, including heart disease at a young age. The Reddy Samshema Seva Sangham organised a medical camp in Kuppili Veedhi of Vizianagaram on Monday. After conducting general check-ups for patients and others, Dr. C. V. Reddy said that healthy food habits, regular walking, basic exercises would help prevent heart attacks.

“Patients who have suffered a heart attack needed to be shifted to hospital within the first hour—known as the ‘Golden Hour,’— to give doctors the best chance to save them,” said Dr. C. V. Reddy. The association’s president S. Suribabu Reddy and Darapu Srinivasa Reddy along with others were present at the medical camp. Medicines were distributed to needy patients free of cost.
