Mega parent-teacher meeting on Children’s Day

The State government has ordered conducting a mega Parent Teacher Meeting (PTM) in all government primary schools, high schools and Pre-University Colleges on November 14 on the occasion of Children’s Day celebration.

This was announced by Minister for School Education and Literacy Madhu Bangarappa during the Kannada Rajyotsava celebrations recently, and an official circular was issued on Wednesday asking the school authorities to make preparations for the PTM.

If the student strength is less than 50, then all the parents should be invited, if the enrolment is above 50, priority should be given to higher classes considering the availability of space at the schools to conduct meetings, reads the circular.
