Meghalaya charts path as ‘digital hub’ of northeast

Shillong: A collaborative workshop on fostering innovation, integration, and growth — AI SPARK: Accelerating Meghalaya Startups — was convened at Shillong Technology Park, Umsawli, on Wednesday.The event marked a milestone in Meghalaya’s journey towards becoming the ‘digital hub’ of NE. It was organised by the information technology & communication department of Meghalaya govt, in partnership with the Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Technology Hub. It reflected the state’s growing ambition to position itself as a regional leader in emerging technologies.The workshop brought together key officials, technology partners, and promising local startups from the PRIME (Promotion and Incubation of Market-driven Enterprises) Meghalaya to explore AI-driven solutions for entrepreneurship, governance, and business transformation.
