Meghan Markle’s pumpkin picking adventure with Prince Harry and kids steal hearts ahead of Halloween 2025

Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, and their children, Archie and Lili, have officially kicked off the preparations for Halloween 2025 by going on a festive pumpkin-picking outing. On Sunday, the Duchess of Sussex treated fans to a glimpse of her family life over the weekend.

She posted a reel on Instagram, which captured her festive pumpkin-picking outing with Prince Harry and their little ones, Archie and Lili.The video shows Archie and Lili exploring the pumpkin patch. The kids can be seen running around choosing their pumpkins for Halloween.

In the video, Meghan and Harry can be seen holding hands, leading their children through rows of pumpkins and a corn maze, on a lovely fall day. The reel captures the season’s charm perfectly. Archie appeared to be in full energy as he ran through the corn maze and wandered among the pumpkins while his parents watched. He wore a black shirt and pants under his lighter brown quilted jacket. Lili, on the other hand, wore pink co-ords to the pumpkin patch. She seems to be fascinated by the pale pumpkins. The video also features Meghan pulling a wagon, with little Lili sitting in it, and the pumpkins they picked for the Halloween season.

Meghan is spotted wearing black leggings, layered with a dark brown quilted jacket, and knee-high black boots. Harry, on the other hand, can be seen wearing an olive green hoodie and jeans, as paired with a white baseball cap. He is seen enthusiastically carving a pumpkin to take home.

thing I do when I wake up in the morning is turn the music on in the house,” Meghan said. “Our daughter, she’s four and she’s a very strong personality and she’s incredible. And now she’s in this moment where I say, ‘What’s your rose and your thorn?’ And she goes, ‘My day was just a blast,’” she added.

The Halloween season is around the corner, and families are preparing for festive outings and traditions. Soon, the yards will be filled with spooky costumes, and Jack-o'-lanterns. It is also a favourite season for the kids. Who doesn’t like the sugar rush during trick-or-treating!

This year, Halloween celebrations are even more special, as it falls on Friday, Oct. 31, in 2025. The alignment of Halloween with a Friday is a rarity. For the next, we will have to wait till 2031.
