Meghan Markle shares glimpse of her 44th birthday celebration, thanks Prince Harry for making it ‘special’: ‘Blowing out the candles…’

Meghan Markle marked her 44th birthday with a sweet and heartfelt message to Prince Harry and others close to her. On Tuesday, the Duchess of Sussex took to Instagram to thank her loved ones after celebrating her birthday on Monday.

She posted a lovely photo of herself with her eyes closed, blowing out candles on her birthday cake. Alongside the peaceful photo, she wrote, “Blowing out the candles on a beautiful 24 hours, and thanking my husband, friends and family for making it so special.”She added another line to thank those who send her love from afar, 'To those of you I don’t know, but who send love every day, thank you so much. Please know I feel it and appreciate it ❤️.'

Celebration held at a popular star hangout

Meghan also gave fans a little peek into where the celebrations happened. Joking about her love for food, she said she was going to 'get a little foodie on' her followers. She revealed that her birthday party took place at the well-known Beverly Hills restaurant, which is a favourite spot for many celebrities. Stars like Kim Kardashian, Michelle Obama, Beyoncé and Jay-Z, Jennifer Lopez and Matt Damon have all been seen there.

Friends from ‘Suits’ and beyond show love

Alongside her birthday message, Meghan was also seen replying to a number of birthday wishes from her close friends on Monday.

Many of them were from her ‘Montecito moms’ circle and old friends from her acting days on Suits.Abigail Spencer, Meghan’s co-star from the legal drama, was one of the first to share a heartfelt birthday tribute. She wrote, “As glorious as the day I met you. Champagne in human form. A creature unlike any other. Thank you for being a sister in this life, and beyond. Words can’t capture. From the rooftops. So grateful for your life, @meghan ✨. Thanks for saving mine. Love, Abs. 44/4. 8/4/81.”Meghan replied warmly, saying, 'Thank you, sweet Abs! Right back at you, and happy birthday to YOU! 44/4', since both of them turned 44 on the fourth of the month.
