A luxury car stunt at Dumas Beach over the weekend ended with a Mercedes-Benz stranded in swampy sand, drawing public attention and raising concerns about beach safety rules.

A video of the incident, widely shared on social media, shows the car stuck near the shoreline while its occupants look on, unable to move it.

The group had reportedly driven the vehicle onto the beach, despite a ban on such activities in the Dumas area due to safety and environmental concerns.

Local reports indicate that the vehicle was left near the water’s edge. As the tide rose and receded, the car became lodged in the soft sand, making recovery efforts difficult without assistance.

The 18-second video renewed focus on the lack of effective monitoring, as residents claim such incidents are becoming more frequent in the area.

Despite regular police patrols and warning signs, drivers continue to access the restricted zone.
