NEW DELHI: A Delhi–Bagdogra IndiGo flight made an emergency landing in Lucknow on Sunday after a bomb threat was reported. Security agencies are currently carrying out a thorough search of the aircraft in Lucknow. ACP Rajneesh Verma said a message claiming there was a bomb on board was found written on a tissue paper inside the aircraft’s toilet, reported ANI. The flight, IndiGo 6E‑6650, was carrying 238 passengers, including 222 adults and 8 infants, along with two pilots and five crew members.The aircraft was en route from Delhi to Bagdogra when Air Traffic Control received the threat at around 8:46 am. It landed safely at Lucknow airport at approximately 9:17 am. More details awaited.
