Mild drizzle in Hyderabad on August 26; light rain forecast for three days

After a few sunny days, overcast skies covered Hyderabad from Tuesday (August 26, 2025) morning which turned into mild drizzle in the afternoon.  

India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied with gusty winds (30- 40 kmph) very likely to prevail in all five zones of the city: Charminar, Khairatabad, Kukatpally, L.B. Nagar and Serilingampally on Tuesday. Similar weather conditions were forecast for the next three days. The impact of the rain would be low.

Hyderabad was among the 25 districts of Telangana which were forecast to receive light to moderate rain, according to IMD’s district level nowcast valid till 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
