Minister expresses grief over five deaths in East Godavari road accident

Minister for Tourism, Culture, and Cinematography and Nidadavolu MLA Kandula Durgesh on Tuesday expressed shock and grief over the loss of lives in the road accident that occurred in East Godavari district on June 2 night.

Upon receiving the information, the Minister rushed to the government hospital in Rajamahendravaram and offered his condolences to the bereaved families. He assured them that the government would provide all possible support and also directed the medical staff and authorities to provide proper treatment to the injured who are admitted to a private hospital in the city.

Mr. Durgesh emphasised the need to prepare an action plan to prevent such incidents from recurring. He said the State government would take necessary decisions to ensure precautions to prevent road accidents.
