Minister for General Education V. Sivankutty on Saturday released Mazha Mannilezhuthiyathu, a magazine that includes best writings and works of students from the Kerala State School Arts Festival held here in January this year.

The magazine has been brought out by the Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education (KITE) to take these writings to readers, thereby increasing their reach.

Fifty-six works have been included in the digital magazine. The illustrations and other art works for the writings have been done by young school art festival winners.

The digital magazine contains a podcast too for hearing the stories and poems in the voice of the writers. A QR code given along with each work in the magazine can be used to see their videos. The picturisation of their reading of story or poem has been done by KITE Victers channel.

The magazine has been designed on the free software Scribus. Besides the students, KITE master trainers and Wiki community members have supported the digital magazine preparation.

Mazha Mannilezhuthiyathu can be downloaded from the KITE website or SchoolWiki (https://schoolwiki.in/sw/mtiz)

KITE has already been documenting these writings on SchoolWiki since 2016.
