MUMBAI: A seven-year-old was injured after an unidentified autorickshaw driver rammed into her at Borivali West and fled. The girl is currently under treatment.The incident occurred on Oct 11 near Gokul shopping centre.
Trisha's grandmother, Sharda, runs a bhel stall in the vicinity. Trisha had accompanied her grandmother to the stall.
At 3.45 pm, Trisha's mother informed Trisha's father that their daughter had been crossing the road when an auto driver hit her and fled.
Trisha was taken to the Babasaheb Ambedkar Hospital in Kandivali by her family. Doctors said she had suffered a leg fracture.Subsequently, her father lodged a police complaint against the driver. An FIR has been registered for rash driving and police are looking for him.
