 Teja Sajja fantasy adventure crosses Rs 65 crore mark in first week

Teja Sajja's latest outing, 'Mirai' directed by Karthik Gattamneni, has been performing well at the box office. The film was released on September 12, and the fantasy action drama opened to impressive numbers and has now crossed the Rs 65 crore mark within seven days of release.According to trade analyst Sacnilk, early times suggest the film earned around Rs 3.35 crore on Thursday, its seventh day. This takes the total domestic collection to Rs 65.10 crore. While the opening weekend had massive collections the film had the usual weekday drop but still managed to maintain good numbers.

First week performance

On the first day 'Mirai' minted over Rs 13 crore on day 1, with Rs 11.15 crore coming from the Telugu version and Rs 1.65 crore from Hindi version.

The film saw an impeccable Rs 15 crore and Rs 16.6 crore collection during the first weekend. During the weekday it made Rs 6.4 crore on Tuesday, Rs 6 crore on Tuesday and Rs 4.75 crore on Wednesday.

Theatre occupancy

The film on the seventh day had 18.72% occupancy in theatres. The morning shows began at 13.77%. It had a steady increase in the afternoon and evening shows, 18.72% and 19.95%. It later wrapped up the day with night shows at 22.42%.

On the other hand, the film recorded an overall Hindi occupancy of 8.81%. The morning shows were at 5.01% and increased to 9.25% and 9.33%. The film's night work was at 11.66%.

'Mirai' is a fantasy action thriller, Teja Sajja stars as a Super Yodha who is destined to protect the nine granthas from the villainous entity.
