 Manchu Manoj sneaks into theatre to watch audience response, shares his joy to see 'housefull screen'

Karthik Gattamneni's fantasy adventure film 'Mirai' starring Teja Sajja turned out to be one of the biggest hits of the year. The film also stars Macnhu Manoj as Mahabir and recently he decided to experience the excitement firsthand by sneaking into a screening of Mirai.

Find out what he did. The Manchu family recently went to watch Lakshmi Manchu's latest release, 'Daksha: The Deadly Conspiracy', which was released this Friday. Lakshmi, along with her daughter Vidya Nirvana, fondly known as Apple, brother Manoj, sister-in-law Bhuma Mounika, and mother Nirmala Devi, headed to a Hyderabad theatre for the film.

Manoj sneeks into 'Mirai' screening

After watching 'Daksha', Manoj couldn't resist sneaking into another screen of the theatre that was playing 'Mirai'.

Posting a video on Instagram, he revealed his joy in witnessing the response of a packed house. "Snuck into #Mirai after #Daksha at Amb Theatres… Housefull screen & housefull heart. love u alllll #mirai #Mirai #blacksword #BlackSword," he wrote.

Manchu family watches 'Daksha'

Coming back to the family's trip to watch 'Daksha', Lakshmi shared a heartwarming video from inside the cinema, capturing her daughter's expression as she watched her mother's on-screen character being arrested.

"Watching #DakshaTheDeadlyConspiracy with Apple. Proud me," Lakshmi captioned the post.

The film is directed by Vamsee Krishna Malla. The action thriller, also featuring Mohan Babu, Samuthrakani, Viswant, Chitra Shukla, and Siddique, sees Lakshmi playing a tough cop on the trail of a serial killer.

Plot of 'Mirai'

Speaking about 'Mirai', the film centers around Vedha, played by Teja Sajja, who becomes Super Yodha. He is destined to protect the nine sacred scriptures created by Emperor Ashoka after the Kalinga War. These granthas contain superpowers and Manchu Manoj's character, Mahabir aka Black Sword, tries to get a hold on them to control the world.The movie has minted Rs 73 crore at the box office domestically in 9 days and has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark globally.The film also stars Ritika Nayak, Shriya Saran, Jagapathi Babu and Jayaram in key roles.
