Missing teen’s body found near Muzhappilangad beach in Kerala’s Kannur

The body of 17-year-old Farhan who went missing from the Ezhara beach on Wednesday was recovered from the beach near the Muzhappilangad cemetery in Kannur, Kerala, around 2 a.m. on Friday.

He along with his friend was at the beach when strong waves swept him away.

The body was discovered about 2 km from the location where he was last seen.

The police and rescue personnel had been conducting a search since his disappearance.

Further procedures, including inquest and post-mortem examination, are under way.
