Itanagar:Mizoram chief minister Pu Lalduhoma visited Ziro in Arunachal Pradesh’s Lower Subansiri district on Friday.Accompanied by Arunachal agriculture minister Gabriel D Wangsu, Lalduhoma visited the Integrated Aquapark at Tarin, kiwi garden at Biiri, and the Seeh and Siikhe lakes, a DIPRO report said.At Biiri, subdivisional horticulture officer Tasso Yallu briefed the visitng dignitaries on the cultivation practices, marketing potential and future scope of kiwi farming.The chief minister also visited the popular winery Naar-Aaba at Hong village, where he interacted with its founder Tage Rita, and appreciated her pioneering efforts in promoting local agri-based entrepreneurship and putting Arunachal’s kiwi wine on the global map.During his visit, Lalduhoma studied the region’s nature conservation initiatives, agro-based opportunities, and immense tourism potential. His maiden visit marked a moment of interstate goodwill and cooperation, strengthening ties between Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh in the common pursuit of sustainable development, eco-tourism promotionand rural livelihood generation in the North East.Earlier, Lalduhoma was accorded a warm reception by Ziro-Hapoli MLA Hage Appa, Lower Subansiri DC Oli Perme, SP Keni Bagra, HoDs, officials and panchayat leaders.
