The tenth session of the sixth Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly will be held from July 13 to July 17, the Vidhan Sabha secretariat announced on Monday. The five-day session will comprise a total of five sittings, during which financial business and other government-related legislative work will be taken up.According to an official press release issued by the Assembly secretariat, the session will commence July 13 and conclude on July 17. Besides financial matters, the House will transact various items of official business during the session.Each day will begin with the Question Hour, followed by discussions and government business. The opposition is likely to corner the state government during the monsoon session over law-and-order, farmers’ grievances, electricity and water shortages, education, healthcare, and controversial decisions across various departments.The session is likely to witness stormy debates over the state govt order mandating mantra chanting in schools, the law-and-order situation.
