Moscow Fashion Week spotlights global designers

Moscow once again stepped into the spotlight as a global fashion capital, with Moscow Fashion Week drawing designers from around the world.Among the international highlights, Spanish label Madame & Mister Sibarita brought a burst of vibrant energy with its spring collection, Instinct Naturel.

The designs blended Eastern mysticism with Western elegance, featuring kimonos, capes, and dresses adorned with sequins, fringes, decorative knots, and intricate hand embroidery.

Flowing, asymmetrical silhouettes created a sense of movement, while a refined palette of beige, ivory, olive, amber, coral, and turquoise reflected light and nature’s richness.

Chinese brand Xuaujin made its debut with a collection inspired by the cultural heritage of the Buyi people.

Designer Yan Haoyi translated elements of China’s natural beauty into fluid shapes and asymmetrical draping. Traditional prints, embroidery, and intricate patterns enhanced a range of garments, while the iconic qipao stood out, reimagined with fringes and three-dimensional appliqué for a contemporary feel.

Meanwhile, Istanbul-based designer Emre Erdemoğlu returned to the runway with a collection defined by strong silhouettes and bold leather pieces. The lineup explored outerwear trends, including trench coats with lowered waistlines, hussar-style jackets, crocodile-embossed biker jackets, and studded leather designs. Japandi-inspired elements added a modern, minimalist contrast to the structured aesthetic.
