Gudda Patel, recently released from jail for murdering his wife, allegedly killed a 16-year-old boy in Samanna village.

A 46-year-old man, who was released from jail last week in a case linked to the murder of his wife, was held after he allegedly killed a 16-year-old boy in the Samanna village of Madhya Pradesh’s Damoh district, police said, according to a report by Hindustan Times.

The outlet, citing the police, reported the accused had attempted to eat the flesh of the deceased and drink his blood.

Gudda Patel, a resident of Samanna village, had earlier been arrested for slitting his wife’s throat a few years ago. Having been convicted in the case, he was released from the jail in January this year.

Ate Flesh, Drank Blood

The 16-year-old boy, a resident of Arthkheda village, had come to visit his sister at her residence in Samanna village. While he was returning on his bike, he was attacked by Patel with an iron rod and later struck with a hammer.

The teenager died at the spot, said the police, adding onlookers saw the accused eating the deceased’s flesh and drinking his blood.

When they attempted to catch him, he reportedly threatened them and displayed the hammer. Soon, he ran into a nearby agricultural field where the villagers chased him and pelted stones at him. The accused also pelted stones at them.

Upon received the information, the police reached the spot. After an hour of effort, the accused was held and taken into custody.
