Mr. Yadav had received the call after he issued a public statement that if given him opportunity, he can finish off Bishnoi’s network in 24 hours.
While speaking to the media in Siwan today where Mr. Kushwaha has gone to attend the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public meeting, said this is a matter for investigation and police will investigate it.
“The caller claimed to be from the Bishnoi gang but the police need to find out the truth,” Mr. Kushwaha said.
On the complaint, Patna Police also posted a message on social account ‘X’ saying, “Information has been sent to Cyber Police Patna and necessary legal action will be taken after investigation.”
Earlier in January 2025, Bihar Labour Resources Minister Santosh Kumar Singh had alleged that he received death threats from a man who identified himself as gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and demanded ₹ 30 lakh.
