MrBeast stars in a new fun video from YouTube. In it, he jokes about buying the NFL and giving each team a spot for YouTube creators. The video sets the stage for an exciting event: YouTube will stream a live NFL game for free on Friday, September 5, 2025, from São Paulo, Brazil.
The Week 1 game features the Los Angeles Chargers against the Kansas City Chiefs, marking YouTube’s first-ever exclusive live NFL broadcast.
MrBeast imagines owning the NFL with Roger Goodell and spotlights YouTube creators
Jimmy Donaldson appears alongside NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell in the video. He plays with the idea of “buying the NFL” and giving every team a 54th spot just for YouTube creators. The creators featured include Dude Perfect, Sketch, Valkyrae, Adam W, IShowSpeed, Haley Kalil, Ben Azelart, Hannah Stocking, Clix, Celine Dept, and Brooke Monk—together they have nearly 695 million subscribers. MrBeast says,“We’re at this culture-changing moment in entertainment and with the first live NFL game broadcasting on YouTube for free this Friday, we’re showing the world that the most engaging way to experience sports is with the creators you love.”
He adds with a laugh:“Go big or go home, so for this one, I figured why not just buy the entire NFL?”

- Time- Pre-game starts at 4 p.m. PT / 7 p.m. ET, and the game kicks off at 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET on Friday, September 5, 2025.
- Platforms- The game happens at São Paulo, Brazil, and will be streamed live and free on YouTube worldwide.

- A brand-new MrBeast Challenge will be revealed during the pre-game show and its winner announced after the game.
