MS Dhoni takes vintage Rolls-Royce for a spin in Ranchi, fans go crazy

MS Dhoni’s love for bikes and cars is no secret. The former India skipper’s immense collection of vehicles never fails to capture fans’ attention, and whenever he takes out a bike or car, onlookers go wild, trying to snap pictures or videos on their mobile phones.One such incident happened recently on the streets of Ranchi, when Dhoni took out his vintage Rolls-Royce. Wearing a blue vest, he stepped out, and fans waiting outside his gate immediately rushed forward, eager to capture the moment.

Recently, South Africa’s rising batter Dewald Brevis, who played for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in IPL 2025, revealed that what impressed him most about Dhoni was not just his cricketing brilliance but also his humility and personality.

Brevis joined CSK as a replacement for injured Gurjapneet Singh and made a mark with 225 runs in six innings, including two fifties, even as the team finished at tenth place in the points table.

“The one thing that I can just say from MS is his humbleness and who he is as a person that stood out for me. How he is basically off the field, the time he has for players, for people. His room door is always open. If he’s sleeping, that’s the only time it’s closed,” Brevis said.

He added, “I found myself a few times in his room just sitting there with whatever he’s busy with, like chatting to him about his hobbies, watching cricket, and that’s just amazing. To see what he does off the field, when everyone already knows what he does on the field and at training, yeah, it’s very special.” Brevis shared these insights on former South Africa batter AB de Villiers’ YouTube channel on Thursday.Despite CSK’s rough run in IPL 2025, Brevis praised the coaching staff for their support. “I enjoyed my time there. Flem (head coach Stephen Fleming), all the coaches, I see, Eric (Simons, bowling consultant), everyone was really amazing. They took me in and their backing was incredible, allowing me to settle in comfortably,” he said.“I didn’t play the first game, but I knew the plans they had for me and it was great. I really enjoyed all of the other guys. A few great overseas players were fun to have there as well, along with the local guys,” he added.
