MSME institute to tie up with TGCHE for skill development

The National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (ni-msme), under the Ministry of MSME, has proposed a collaborative framework with the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) on Monday, to strengthen higher education and skill development in the State.

During a meeting with TGCHE Chairman V. Balakista Reddy, ni-msme Director (School of Enterprise Development) K. Suryaprakash Goud discussed initiatives aimed at enhancing employability and entrepreneurship among students.

Mr. Reddy emphasised introducing courses on Technology & Ethics, Applied Artificial Intelligence, startups, governance, and experiential learning with academic credits. He stressed that internships, case studies, and fieldwork would improve students’ practical skills.

Mr. Goud announced plans to establish rural incubation centers under the PPP model, district-level Centers of Excellence, and startup networks across Telangana.
