A forensic examination report has claimed that a viral video purportedly showing Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann exhibits technical signs of editing and digital manipulation.

According to the report, an independent digital media forensic analysis was conducted on the viral video using copies provided on two pen drives. The examination involved metadata analysis, frame-by-frame assessment, visual review, and other digital forensic techniques.

The report states that the video's structure appeared to resemble post-produced content rather than a standard camera output. It claims the footage contains multiple visual layers, text overlays, graphical elements, and watermarks. Forensic experts also noted indicators that, according to the technical analysis, suggest the possibility of post-production processing and visual manipulation.

The report further states that a frame-by-frame examination identified inconsistencies in certain visual elements, including differences in the presentation of the background and the subject. It claims these observations are consistent with signs of digital editing.

As part of the analysis, the report says the physical build, posture, and visual characteristics of the individual seen in the video were compared with reference photographs. According to the findings, some frames displayed differences in proportions, visual presentation, and positioning.

However, the report also clarifies that its findings are based solely on the technical examination of the digital material made available for analysis. It states that any final determination regarding the identity of the individual shown in the video or the authenticity of the footage can only be made by the competent legal authorities.
