Mumbai local train services disrupted today, megablocks on Central & Western Railway lines ; commuters face delays

MUMBAI: Commuters travelling by local trains may face inconvenience on Sunday due to megablocks on the Central and Western suburban sections.Main Line There will be a megablock on the CSMT Mumbai–Vidyavihar UP and DOWN slow lines from 10:55 am to 3:55 pm.

UP slow services departing from Ghatkopar between 10.19 am and 3.52 pm will be diverted to the UP fast line between Vidyavihar and CSMT Mumbai stations, and will halt at Kurla, Sion, Matunga, Dadar, Parel, and Byculla stations.Harbour Line On the Harbour line, a block will be in place on the Panvel–Vashi UP and DOWN lines from 11.05 am to 4.05 pm (excluding the Port line). Special local trains will operate on the CSMT–Vashi section during the block period. Trans-Harbour line services will be available between Thane and Vashi/Nerul stations. Port line services will continue as normal during the block.Western Railway To carry out maintenance of tracks, signalling, and overhead equipment, a five-hour block will be in effect on the slow lines between Santacruz and Goregaon stations from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm today.
