The actress took to X (formerly Twitter) to wish her late husband on his birth anniversary, writing exactly, "Dharam ji. Happy birthday my dear heart," followed by a red heart emoji. Hema reflected on how time has moved since his passing and shared that she is gradually finding her way back to normalcy in life.
"More than two weeks have passed since you left me heartbroken, slowly gathering up the pieces and trying to reconstruct my life, knowing that you will always be with me in spirit," she shared.

On November 24, Dharmendra breathed his last at his Mumbai residence. He had been admitted to Breach Candy Hospital earlier after facing respiratory issues but was released on November 12.
