Mysore-bound express train flagged off from Kakinada

Kakinada Member of Parliament Tangella Uday Srinivas on Friday flagged off Kakinada-Mysore express train in Kakinada railway station. The train passes through Samarlakota, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada and Hyderabad city.

Addressing the gathering in Kakinada, Mr. Srinivas claimed that the modernisation of Tuni, Kakinada and Samarlakota railway stations was nearing completion with an estimated cost of ₹75 crore. The work for modernisation of Pithapuram railway station is in progress, he added.
