N. Devidas assumes charge as KILA Director General

N. Devidas has taken charge as the Director General of the Kerala Institute of Local Administration (KILA). He was accorded a warm reception by KILA staff under the leadership of Registrar K.R. Sumesh at the institute’s headquarters in Thrissur on Saturday.

Mr. Devidas had been serving as the District Collector of Kollam since 2023. Over the years, he has held several key positions, including Director of Mining and Geology; Managing Director of the State Backward Classes Development Corporation; Housing Commissioner; Secretary of the Housing Board; and Director of the Backward Classes Development department.

A 2015-batch IAS officer of the Kerala cadre, Mr. Devidas hails from Thrikkarippur in Kasaragod district and currently resides in Nileshwaram.
