NAC to be 100% job-oriented academy: Komatireddy Venkata Reddy

Roads & Buildings Minister, and Vice-Chairman of the National Academy of Construction (NAC), Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, congratulated NAC trainer Snehalatha for receiving the National Best Teachers Award from President Droupadi Murmu in New Delhi.

The award, instituted by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, was conferred on Snehalatha for her outstanding contribution to vocational training, skill development, and employment generation among unemployed youth across Telangana. She is among 13 recipients selected nationwide, and the only one from Telangana, hailing from Hanamkonda. Minister Venkat Reddy personally conveyed his wishes over the phone, praising her efforts in imparting skill training through NAC at Warangal, Karimnagar, and Jagtial, enabling youth to secure employment through certificate and vocational courses. He noted that her recognition is a matter of pride for Telangana.

Highlighting the government’s vision, the Minister said, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has been emphasising the creation of skill development centres across the State. The minister also mentioned that he is personally focusing on strengthening the NAC to make it as a premier national platform for skill training with the aim of ensuring 100% employment opportunities for trainees.
