Naidu govt. improving sports infrastructure in all districts: Kuna Ravikumar

Amadalavalasa MLA Kuna Ravikumar said that the Chandrababu Naidu government has been giving priority to sports and improving sports infrastructure in Srikakulam and other parts of the State.

Attending a meeting organised by the Softball Association in Srikakulam on Sunday, he said that 3% sports quota for DSC candidates would benefit many youths from Srikakulam as they have secured medals at various national-level competitions.

SSR Charitable Foundation President Sura Srinivasa Rao pledged financial support to sportspersons from economically disadvantaged backgrounds to help them compete in national-level tournaments. The association members felicitated Mr. Ravikumar and Mr. Srinivasa Rao, and urged them to promote softball in rural and semi-urban areas.
