Naidu urges people to follow austerity measures

Visakhapatnam: CM Chandrababu Naidu, who earlier trimmed his convoy in line with the austerity measures announced by PM Narendra Modi, reached the meeting venue in a four-vehicle convoy.

Urging the public to follow the PM’s instructions, he told them to work from home as much as possible.

“Let’s reduce the buying of gold. Let’s travel by public transport. Let’s reduce the use of edible oils. Let’s promote natural farming. Let’s buy ‘Made in Andhra’ and ‘Made in India’ brands. Instead of going abroad for tourism, visit tourist places in AP,” Naidu said.
