In a recent social media post, filmmaker Myers discussed her friendship with Diane Keaton, recalling the late actress and sharing that she “felt like a sister” to her.She also added on in her post, citing that, “As a woman, I lost a friend of almost 40 years – at times over those years, she felt like a sister because we shared so many truly memorable experiences. As a filmmaker, I’ve lost a connection with an actress that one can only dream of.”While talking about the actress, Meyers also mentioned how they got each other mutually, and were really close as well. “I always felt she really got me, so writing for her made me better because I felt so secure in her hands,” she added.She further shared how giving and good Keaton was, and that she would act just the same with everyone around her, no matter the person and no matter the situation. She also shared that, “Diane did exactly the same for them because that is what she does. She goes deep, and I know those who have worked with her know what I know… she made everything better.”Diane Keaton passed away on October 11 after it was reported that an ambulance arrived at her home to take her to the hospital. The reason behind the actress’s demise has not yet been shared with the public.
