National Space Day observed at Vikrama Simhapuri University

On the occasion of National Space Day, Vikrama Simhapuri University (VSU) on Saturday (August 23) organised competitions for students on its campus on Saturday (August 23). Elocution, essay writing and poster painting competitions let the students put their creativity to the touchstone. Speaking on the occasion, registrar K. Suneetha said space research played a vital role in the nation’s development. “Students should enhance their knowledge and strive to come up with ideas that lead to new discoveries.” Physics pepartment faculty members N.O. Gopal, Y. Vijaya, Pundari, Subbareddy, Bhagyashree and other university officials were also present at the event.
