After joining hands with the Houston Rockets recently, Kevin Durant is back doing what he is popular for. Reportedly, Durant went on to land at one of his preferred NBA clubs and has already become the hotbed of discussion during NBA trade season. According to a recent revelation made by an NBA insider, Kevin Durant’s fallout with the Golden State Warriors was led by none other than their head coach, Steve Kerr. The Ringer’s NBA insider Logan Murdock revealed that Kevin Durant could become an indispensable part of the Warriors due to Steve Kerr.

He mentioned,“Durant’s exit from the Bay Area arguably had more to do with his issues with Steve Kerr than any shouting match with Green. Durant repeatedly complained both publicly and privately about Kerr’s offensive principles during his final season with the Warriors, and he continued to do so even after he left for Brooklyn.”

Murdock further wrote,“The two have since reconciled, but league sources identify Kerr as among the reasons Durant opted not to return to Golden State at the trade deadline.”Kevin Durant played three seasons with the Golden State Warriors after departing the Oklahoma City Thunder during the 2016 offseason. During his time in the Bay Area, he helped lead the team to two NBA championships alongside stars Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green. Despite his accomplishments with the Warriors, reports have indicated that Durant has maintained a firm position against the idea of reuniting with his former team. Also Read: NBA champion Kevin Durant expands partnership with QSI after buying stakes in Paris Saint-Germain
