Certain people leave a void so deep that it cannot be filled by anyone. Los Angeles Lakers icon Kobe Bryant was one of them, whose absence is still felt by the NBA world and basketball enthusiasts years after his untimely demise along with his little daughter, Gianna Bryant.

Recently, Kobe Bryant was back in the spotlight after his popular mural along with his late daughter Gianna Bryant was vandalized almost a week after restoration in Downtown Los Angeles.

The popular mural of the Los Angeles Lakers icon Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna was recently damaged downtown in Los Angeles after being restored almost a few days back. As reported by the reputed media outlet TMZ, the mural was located at 1361 Main Street in Los Angeles.

It represented the Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant along with his daughter Gianna Bryant as a toddler. The mural was created by artist Sloe_motions after the sudden demise of the NBA icon and Gigi, along with seven others, on board the helicopter on January 26, 2020.

After restoring the mural after it was damaged for the first time, the artist Sloe_Motion said-"This was the first mural I ever did for Kobe. We didn't want that disrespect to LA right here and for people to see that, especially Vanessa.

Kobe has brought nothing but light, insight, and inspiration to the youth."The artist expressed his disappointment over the damaged mural, as it meant more than just a form of art for Sloe_motion. According to TMZ, Los Angeles Lakers’ star Luka Dončić helped in the restoration of the mural as he donated $5,000 for it. Based on a statement given by Luke Doncic, he said-"Kobe is LA. He and Gigi mean so much to this city, to the Lakers organization, and to me personally.

I'm happy to do anything to help make sure he and his daughter are honored."Reportedly, the popular Kobe Bryant and Gigi mural was painted shortly after their unfortunate helicopter crash back in January 2020. The mural even led Sloe_motion’s way to meet the Lakers’ star’s widow, Vanessa Bryant, almost after two years.
