NCHMCT JEE counselling 2026
The National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) has started the counselling registration process for the NCHMCT Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) 2026 from June 1, 2026.
Candidates who qualified and have been shortlisted can now register for counselling through the official website of NCHMCT counselling. The last date to complete registration is June 4, 2026.Candidates must complete the counselling process carefully because admission to hotel management programmes will be based on seat allotment and choice preferences submitted during registration.
Counselling fee and registration
To participate in the counselling process, candidates must pay a non-refundable counselling fee of ₹2,000.
Along with payment, applicants also need to submit their preferred choices of institutes and courses for the first round of counselling.The Round 1 seat allotment result is scheduled to be announced on June 6, 2026.
Important documents required
Candidates should keep the following documents ready while completing counselling formalities:
- Admit card
- Application form
- NCHMCT JEE scorecard/result
- Class 10 certificate or another valid document showing date of birth
- Medical certificate
- Class 12 (10+2) examination certificate
- Reservation category certificates (if applicable)
Applicants claiming reservation benefits must upload valid supporting documents during verification.

How to register for NCHMCT JEE counselling 2026
Candidates can follow these simple steps to complete registration:
- Visit the official counselling website of NCHMCT.
- Click on the NCHM 2026 counselling option.
- Select New Candidate Registration.
- Read all instructions carefully and click “I Agree.”
- Enter the required login details including roll number, password, and security code.
- Sign in and complete the registration process.
- Fill in and arrange preferred institutes and courses in order of preference.
- Review all details and submit the choices.

Colleges and seat availability
NCHMCT JEE counselling will be conducted for admission across 80 participating colleges. Seat distribution includes:
- Central Government Colleges – 23 colleges, 6,957 seats
- State Government Colleges – 32 colleges, 3,246 seats
- Private Colleges – 25 colleges, 2,424 seats
Total seats available: 12,627.
Admission through counselling
Admissions to the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Hotel Administration (BSc HHA) programmes offered by participating institutes will be conducted through a two-round counselling process.Candidates are advised to complete registration before the deadline and regularly check the official counselling portal for updates and seat-related announcements.
