Patna: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said the NDA’s manifesto for the Bihar assembly elections clearly outlines their vision of a self-reliant and developed Bihar while union home minister Amit Shah called it the blueprint for a “developed Bihar”.PM Modi said the manifesto reflects the NDA’s commitment to making life easier for the farmers, youth and women in the state. “The double-engine govt has left no stone unturned to ensure Bihar’s all-round development, leading to significant changes. By further accelerating this progress, we are determined to make good governance the foundation of prosperity for every citizen of Bihar. I am confident that these efforts will receive full support from the public,” Modi posted on X.Shah said under the leadership of PM Modi and CM Nitish Kumar, the NDA is committed to creating a developed Bihar. “Today, the NDA released its manifesto to further accelerate the reach of development to every section of Bihar. The youth of the state will receive employment, affordable loans, factories in every district, 10 new industrial parks in the state and a permanent solution to industrial migration,” he said.

Shah said the assistance of up to Rs10 lakh for the EBC category, residential schools for the scheduled castes children in every subdivision, 50 lakh new pucca houses, yearly Rs9,000 for farmers and 125 units of free electricity will set new standards in good governance in Bihar.“Bihar is now poised to take new leaps forward, from heritage to science, and from education to public welfare under the NDA govt. Our manifesto is going to prove to be the blueprint for a ‘developed Bihar’,” he posted on X.The home minister added that while Mithila Mega Textile Park, Mega Tech City and Fintech City, world-class Medicity and Sports City will make Bihar a hub of innovation in every field, the Maa Janaki temple, Vishnupad, Mahabodhi Corridor, Ramayana, Jain and Buddhist Circuits and 1 lakh green homestays will also make Bihar’s religious places the centres of world tourism.“Also, the establishment of Flood Management Board and ‘Flood to Fortune’ will make Bihar flood-free,” he said.
