NDA takes dig at INDIA bloc over seat-sharing uncertainty

Patna: As the opposition INDIA bloc continues to struggle with seat-sharing and “rebellion” within Congress and RJD, the NDA has found ready ammunition to target its rivals ahead of the assembly elections in the state on Nov 6 and 11.BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal described the NDA as the “five Pandavas” and the Grand Alliance as a fragmented alliance while union minister Giriraj Singh took aim at RJD chief Lalu Prasad and his son

Tejashwi

Prasad Yadav over the fissures in the opposition amid allegations of “tickets for cash”.BJP IT cell incharge Amit Malviya posted on X, “After allegations of ‘ticket for cash’ in the Congress, now an RJD leader and close aide of Tejashwi has been accused of demanding money for party tickets…The question now is — will the RJD, with Tejashwi having lost steam and embroiled in multiple corruption cases, survive till 2030? Or will Sanjay Yadav, who hails from Haryana, eventually take over the party?”Commenting on Madan Shah, an RJD ticket aspirant for the Madhuban seat, and the allegations of “ticket for cash”, Giriraj advised Lalu not to open the gate.

“RJD workers are furious outside your house and tearing their kurtas. They will tear your kurta, too,” he said.Jaiswal added, “The people of Bihar are watching their drama for cash in ticket distribution. If this situation can arise just because of seat sharing, how will they run the government? The people are observing the culture and nature of the Grand Alliance.”JD(U) state president Umesh Singh Kushwaha said the opposition was divided due to political ambitions. “The INDIA bloc constituents are fielding candidates against each other. Their hollow pretence of unity has now been exposed before the elections,” he said.Even Purnia MP and associate member of Congress Rajesh Ranjan, also known as Pappu Yadav, advised Lalu to follow coalition principles. “This is not the 1990-95 era. Adhere to the coalition dharma,” he said.
