Amidst a heated basketball season, it is also interesting to see how NBA trade is happening, with players either getting traded to different teams or securing a solid spot for themselves.

Recently, Orlando Magic made a solid deal with Memphis Grizzlies’ Desmond Bane. With this, media reports suggest Magic could be looking for a solid player for their team. Names like Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal are also being discussed now. With the Minnesota Timberwolves also showing interest in Durant, American sportswriter Bill Simmons feels Timberwolves should rather focus on securing a point guard and not Durant.

Bill Simmons’ suggestion to Minnesota Timberwolves is to fix problems first

As talks are on about Kevin Durant being traded soon, media reports suggest, it could possibly be with the Minnesota Timberwolves. On The Bill Simmons, Bill Simmons in his latest episode on podcast, spoke of the trade. He said, "Houston is the only team that I feel like he could elevate, I even have real questions about him with (Anthony) Edwards. That feels like dueling banjos to me. Just feels like another (Devin) Booker situation where there's a lot of Durant standing in the corner, like 'I guess I'm not in this one' and he has that weird body language thing he gets going sometimes."

He added, "I don't think he needed help, I think he needed a f***ing point guard, That's what they need. If I'm gonna make trades, I'm not trading for Kevin Durant, I wanna get somebody who can actually handle the ball and take pressure off Edwards and get fast breaks. In that OKC series, (Mike) Conley looked like he was 50 years old. That was why they lost. They couldn't bring the ball up. It wasn't because they didn't have enough scoring, that's not how I watched the series.

Will Bradley Beal become a key player for the Phoenix Suns?

With Desmond Bane making a solid trade to Orlando Magic from Memphis Grizzlies, all eyes are now on where other NBA stars might be traded. As per Jake Fischer of The People’s Insider, the Phoenix Suns are believed to have faith in Bradley Beal who could possibly play much better. In case Kevin Durant is traded, Beal would likely have more space to score better points and experiment with his skill set.

Now, for the Suns, the strategy is to make Beal a key player.

Fischer wrote, “There is likewise some hope within the Suns that moving Durant could possibly present Beal with more offensive opportunity to produce in a manner you'd expect from a player with that sort of contract. As The Stein Line has previously reported, various candidates considered during the Suns' recent coaching search were asked how they would try to get the best out of Beal if he remained a Sun.

It can either be San Antonio Sports, Houston Rockets, and Miami Heat. All eyes are now on where Kevin Durant could possibly go, but that too depends on how Suns will be able to secure a perfect replacement for Durant.
