New building of Sangareddy Government Medical College, Critical Care Block inaugurated

Telangana government medical college and a Critical Care Block attached to Government General Hospital (GGH) in Sangareddy was inaugurated by Health Minister C Damodar Raja Narasimha on Thursday (September 4, 2025). He also laid the foundation stone for a 500-bed GGH building.

The medical college, which was functioning from other buildings, will shift to the new structure along with hostels. The critical care block has 50 beds. And, the government hospital will get a new building. 

The Minister would also lay the foundation stone for some more infrastructure works, such as Primary Health Centre, and inaugurate facilities in the district.

Medak MP Raghunandan Rao, Sangareddy MLA Chinta Prabhakar, Narayankhed MLA Patlolla Sanjeev Reddy, Zaheerabad MLA Koninty Manik Rao and others participated.
