Hyundai Motor India has finally launched the new generation of its popular compact SUV, the Venue, in India. The model has been priced from Rs 7.90 lakh, ex-showroom, and features a complete design overhaul, a more premium cabin, and several new features, while continuing with the existing engine lineup.

The new-gen Venue will be manufactured locally and exported to global markets. Here’s a quick look at all the major details that you need to know.

Hyundai Venue: Design & dimensions

The 2025 Hyundai Venue gets an all-new front fascia that gives it a much sharper presence. Key highlights include a broader dark chrome grille, split headlamps, and C-shaped LED DRLs. It also gets a redesigned bumper and connected LED light bar at the rear. On the sides, the refreshed profile features bridge-type roof rails, a new C-pillar design, in-glass Venue branding, and refreshed 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

Dimensionally, the SUV has grown larger. It’s now 3,995 mm long, 1,800 mm wide, and 1,665 mm tall, making it 48 mm taller and 30 mm wider than before. The wheelbase has also been enhanced and now measures 2,520 mm.

Hyundai Venue: Cabin & features

Inside, the 2025 Hyundai Venue gets a major tech upgrade with twin 12.3-inch curved panoramic displays that merge the infotainment system and the digital instrument cluster. It offers wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay.

The cabin features a navy and dove grey dual-tone theme complemented by Moon White ambient lighting, while the centre console has been redesigned for a more premium feel.

The SUV also gets leatherette seats, a 4-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, 2-step reclining rear seats, ventilated front seats, rear AC vents, and sunshades for rear passengers. It supports over 20 vehicle functions with OTA updates. A unique touch is the new steering wheel that replaces the traditional Hyundai logo with four illuminated dots representing the letter ‘H’ in Morse code.It also comes equipped with paddle shifters, an electric parking brake, and three driving modes. The Venue’s structure uses 71% high-strength steel for added safety and rigidity. On the tech front, it offers Level 2 ADAS with up to 16 features and a total of 65 safety features, 33 of which come as standard.

Hyundai Venue: Engine and transmission options

Under the hood, the new Hyundai Venue continues with the same set of engines as before. It comes with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 83 hp and 114 Nm, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.

There’s also a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol unit that makes 120 hp and 172 Nm, offered with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. For diesel buyers, Hyundai offers a 1.5-litre motor delivering 116 hp and 250 Nm, available with both manual and a new automatic transmission option.

Hyundai Venue: Pricing

For 2025, Hyundai has introduced a new trim structure, with variants named HX2, HX4, HX5, HX6, HX7, HX8, and HX10. The petrol versions span HX2 to HX10, while the diesel lineup covers HX2 to HX10 as well, with slight variant differences. Following are the introductory prices, and Hyundai is yet to announce the prices for the remaining variants.

Pricing

The compact SUV can be had in six single-tone and two dual-tone colour options. New shades like Hazel Blue and Mystic Sapphire join the palette, while dual-tone combinations pair Hazel Blue or Atlas White with an Abyss Black roof.
