Actor Nana Patekar will inaugurate Centra Care Hospital in Belagavi on Sunday.
The new hospital on Khanapur Road will offer advanced and inclusive healthcare facilities.
Its focus will be on preventive, holistic and technologically advanced care, medical director Neeta Deshpande told reporters in Belagavi on Friday.
Mr. Patekar will be accompanied by KLE Society president Prabhakar Kore and activist Manohar Kulkarni, also known as Sambhaji Bhide Guruji.
“We have designed customized preventive health check-up packages catering to all segments of society, focusing on early detection and prevention of disease. A flagship feature of the hospital is the CentraCare Institute of Diabetes, Obesity and Metabolic Syndrome that offers integrated 360 degrees care for obesity and related metabolic conditions. Our weight management programme includes dietary planning, structured exercise regimens and medical management, counselling all under one roof,” she said.
The hospital will also operate the region’s only Cardiac Rehabilitation Centre offering post-operative and post-procedural care for cardiac patients. It has advanced medical infrastructure, including state-of-the-art operation theatres, advanced Cath Labs and remote telemedicine facilities. Most of our patients are discharged within two-three days, leading to lower costs and faster recovery, she said.
Co-director Rohit Deshpande said that the hospital is in the process of obtaining entry level NABH accreditation. Director Deepak Karanjikar, organ transplant coordinator Pramod Surlikeri and others were present.
