The National Green Tribunal (NGT) has asked the Telangana State government to produce the maps of Osman Sagar and Himayat Sagar reservoirs before 1950, and the latest ones in order to understand the extent of encroachments.

The apex green court reportedly gave the directions while hearing a petition filed by activist Lubna Sarwath who alleged tampering of maps and hundreds of encroachments in the Full Tank Level (FTL).
