The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) 2026 registration is closing tomorrow, January 19, 2026, for candidates who wish to apply with a late fee. Last date to apply for NIFTEE 2026
Candidates can submit their NIFT 2026 application forms with a late fee of ₹5,000 until January 19, 2026. After this, no new applications will be accepted.
The correction window for already submitted forms will open on January 20 and close on January 21, allowing students to make minor edits. It is essential to complete all steps before the deadline to avoid missing the exam.

NIFT 2026 exam details
The exam will be held on February 8, 2026, in a hybrid mode combining Computer-Based Test (CBT) and Pen-and-Paper Test (PBT). It covers undergraduate, postgraduate, lateral entry, artisan, and PhD programs. NIFTEE evaluates candidates through:
- CAT (Creative Ability Test): Tests design sense, observation skills, creativity, and drawing ability.
- GAT (General Ability Test): Includes Communication Ability and English Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, Analytical and Logical Ability, and Current Affairs & General Knowledge.
Candidates are advised to practice sample papers and mock tests to improve their performance.
