Nine injured in RTC bus lorry collision near Tirupati

Nine persons were injured in a bus-lorry collision on Naidupeta–Puthalapattu main road near Agarala Panchayat in Chandragiri mandal of Tirupati district in the early hours of Saturday (September 6). The APSRTC bus, carrying 48 passengers from Chittoor to Tirupati, reportedly rammed into a lorry parked near a road-side tea shop at 4.30 a.m. According to the Chandragiri police, the bus conductor’s hand and leg were fractured. The driver and seven passengers suffered minor injuries. The injured were shifted to Ruia Hospital for treatment.
