NIOS Class 10th, 12th date sheet 2025: The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has officially released the timetable for the October-November 2025 public examinations for Classes 10 and 12, marking the start of the academic board examination season for lakhs of students across India and overseas.According to the notification, theory examinations will begin on October 14, 2025, and continue until November 18, 2025. The exams will be conducted at designated centres across the country as well as at overseas centres for international candidates. The board has categorically stated that no revisions to the schedule will be permitted once the dates are notified.

Practical exams concluded in September

Earlier, NIOS had conducted the practical examinations for both secondary and senior secondary students between September 12 and September 27, 2025.

Students who have paid the prescribed examination fees are eligible to appear for the upcoming theory papers.

Admit cards to be released before exams

The board has clarified that admit cards or hall tickets will be issued shortly before the commencement of the examinations. Registered candidates will be required to download their hall tickets from the NIOS student portal at sdmis.nios.ac.in.

NIOS has also announced that the results of the public examinations will be declared within seven weeks after the last theory paper. No individual queries on result dates will be entertained, with results being published directly on the official portal. Students who qualify both theory and practical assessments will be issued a mark-sheet-cum-certificate along with a migration-cum-transfer certificate.
