Nivin Pauly starrer ‘Baby Girl’ is gearing up for release. On Friday, January 16, the makers of the film launched the first trailer. The trailer hinted at a gripping thriller ahead. During the trailer launch, Nivin Pauly stated that he was deeply moved by the film’s plot.

After launching the highly-anticipated trailer, Nivin Pauly spoke about the efforts the team put into the production of ‘Baby Girl’.Nivin Pauly revealed that the film was shot in real locations. “All locations are real. We shot in real premises. We took the permissions in advance. It's all real. The train scenes are also real,” he said. The actor also drew parallels between the 2011 film ‘Traffic’. “We all have connected with that movie (Traffic) emotionally.
In it, all the characters are working together for a cause, just like ours. It had been a long time since I heard such a story - Baby Girl. I adore kids. I have kids. So, when I heard a story about them, it resonated with me on a personal level,” he said.
All about ‘Baby Girl’
Nivin Pauly starrer ‘Baby Girl’ is directed by Arun Varma. The film is scripted by the hit pair of Bobby and Sanjay, who have previously delivered exceptional films such as ‘Traffic’, ‘Ayalum Njaanum Thammil’, ‘Mumbai Police’, ‘How Old Are You?’, ‘Uyare’, and ‘Kaanekkaane’.
Starring Nivin Pauly, the upcoming film has an ensemble cast of Lijomol, Sangeeth Prathap, Abhimanyu Thilakan, Aditi Ravi, Azees Nedumangad, and Aswanth Lal. On the technical front, the film has a talented crew of cinematographer Faiz Siddik, editor Shyjith Kumaran, and composer Jakes Bejoy. The film is slated for release on January 23.
