NLC India Limited (NLCIL), a Navaratna Public Sector Enterprise under the Union Ministry of Coal, has commenced assessments for the International Project Management Association (IPMA) Delta Certification — an organisational-level project management maturity assessment of global repute.
According to an official press note, the onsite assessment commenced on Monday with a formal meeting, attended by the Chairman and Managing Director, functional directors, executive directors, and project/unit heads of NLCIL, along with a distinguished panel of IPMA Assessors of global eminence, led by A. Sivathanu Pillai, former Chief Controller (R and D), ISRO, and founder-CEO of BrahMos Aerospace.
“With this certification process, NLCIL is not only benchmarking its project governance practices with international standards but also reinforcing its commitment to growing stronger, smarter, and more resilient in project execution and management,” said Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, Chairman and Managing Director of NLCIL
The IPMA Delta Certification is a comprehensive maturity assessment that evaluates organisational capability in project, programme, and portfolio management.
