No drinking water supply in Tiruchi on Saturday

Drinking water supply will remain suspended in the following areas of Tiruchi on June 7 because of repair work on the damaged pipe announced by the Tiruchi Corporation.

Following a burst in the pipeline near Yatri Nivas running from Kollidam water station, water supply would be suspended to areas getting supply from the following overhead water tanks: Central Prison, Sundararaj Nagar (new), Sundararajapuram (old), J.K. Nagar, Sembattu, E.B. Colony, Khajamalai (old), Renga Nagar, Subramania Nagar (new), V.N. Nagar (new), Thendral Nagar (old and new), Kavi Bharathi Nagar, Kamaraj Nagar, Crawford (old and new), Anbu Nagar (old and new), Edamalaipattipudur (new), Panjapur, Amman Nagar, Ariyamangalam, Malaiyappa Nagar (old and new), Rail Nagar (old and new), Ex-Servicemen Colony (old and new), Mela Kalkandarkottai Section Office, Mela Kalkandarkottai Nagammai Street, Mela Kalkandarkottai Library, Ponneripuram (old and new), Ambedkar Nagar, Vivekananda Nagar, LIC Colony (new), K. Sathanur, Anand Nagar, and Viswanathapuram.

Regular supply will be restored to these areas from Sunday, a Corporation press release said.
