No Muslim to be allowed in gym: Bhopal sub-inspector's remarks goes viral

A video from Bhopal has surfaced on social media, showing sub-inspector Dinesh Sharma making a controversial remark during an interaction with a gym owner. In the footage, Sharma is heard instructing the owner to prohibit the entry of Muslim trainers and trainees at the facility.

In the video, Sub-Inspector Dinesh Sharma can be heard saying: "No Muslim will come here to give or take training. I have made it clear to you."

The statement was reportedly made a few days ago when members of the Bajrang Dal visited a gym in Bhopal's Ayodhya Nagar area, questioning the presence of Muslim trainers at the facility. Police were called in to defuse the tension, and among the responding officers was sub-inspector Dinesh Sharma.

In a video that later surfaced on social media, Sharma is seen instructing the gym owner not to allow Muslim trainers or clients into the premises. "No Muslim will come here to give or take training. I have made it clear to you," he can be heard saying.

Following the video's circulation, senior police officials took note of the incident and initiated an internal inquiry against the officer.

Meanwhile, Bhopal MP and BJP leader Alok Sharma came out in support of the sub-inspector's remarks. He reiterated concerns over Muslim gym trainers and claimed that a list of trainers in Bhopal has been compiled. He added that women clients should be assigned only female trainers.

"The list of gym trainers will be handed over to the police, who will take appropriate action in accordance with the law," he said. "There is a Mohan Yadav-led government in Madhya Pradesh. Love Jihad and Land Jihad will not be allowed."

These remarks were made in the context of the recent arrest of Mohsin Khan, an Indore-based shooting academy operator, who has been accused of molesting a female trainee under the guise of providing rifle shooting practice.

Bajrang Dal activists alleged that Mohsin Khan was "a predator trapping innocent Hindu daughters" and claimed that data found on his phone revealed over 150 Hindu girls had been targeted in a similar manner.

Moreover, in recent months, a systematic sexual exploitation racket targeting Hindu women and girls has reportedly surfaced in Bhopal as well as in smaller towns across Madhya Pradesh.
